I did not like this film and I do not think it is worth seeing in the theaters. The film was unoriginal and in my opinion completely pointless. Nothing much happens in this film and it is not that i missed action, I missed some sort of point or message and did not find it. The characters in the film do not have much to do except argue and have sex and I want to think that the last day on Earth would be a bit more spectacular than that. I do think that the actors did a great job with their roles and Dafoe was brilliant. Overall, I think this film is not worth the price of the movie ticket. -
This is a drama about what would happen if everyone knew that the world is coming to an end, the film is directed by Abel Ferrara and stars Willem Dafoe, Shanyn Leigh and Natasha Lyonne. I thought this film had a very interesting idea but it was not executed the right way. I felt that nothing really happened in this film and it was a little bit boring. I felt that the director did not dig deep enough and the film could have been much more complex and emotionally charged. I did like how the film looked, the cinematography was wonderful and I loved the way Manhattan looked in this film. Overall, I did not like this film and I do not think it is worth seeing in the theaters.
