This movies presented many ethical dilemnas/issues for each of its main and secondary characters. Not one of them stood up and did the "right thing." The movie is a clear statement of the moral values of our capitalist system, i.e., all is OK in the name of money...amazing, really, but true.
I went to see this film with my girlfriend and we both really liked it. I did not really know anything about this film before I saw it and I was pleasantly surprised by it. I thought that the story was interesting and well told by the characters and the setting of the film. The screenplay is very effective and I could tell that he actors were enjoying themselves and having fun with the material. The film was very involving and I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole thing. I thought that the cast was absolutely great and Richard Gere was the perfect leading man, he nailed this character. Overall, I think this film is worth seeing in the theaters.
I liked this film, even though I realize that the filmmakers these days are milking the story of a fallen Wall Street financial wizard whose sins have caught up with him. I think the film had pretty interesting plot twists and the story was told in a nice pace and directed very well, I was quite impressed. The film also had a great cast and that definitely helped this film a lot. Richard Gere is naturally good at these kind of roles and I saw some real depth in his character and it was a real pleasure to watch Gere perform in this film.
This is a drama about a hedge fund magnate who makes a mistake and it forces him to ask for help from a very unlikely person, the film is directed by Nicholas Jarecki and stars Richard Gere, Tim Roth and Nate Parker. I think the film was alright but i do not think it is worth the price of the movie ticket. The plot of the film is not original at all and I think that hurts the film but in the same time the movie is pretty interesting and I liked the twists. The movie has a bit of suspense throughout and it really picks up in the end so you will not get bored watching it. The cast is pretty great and I really enjoyed watching Richard Gere and Tim Roth, overall this film was quite enjoyable.
