I read recently that "Brave" is expected to make around $225 million by the end of the summer. If you see the movie in 3D, you'll feel like that's a few hundred million short. The animation and the story just come to life in 3D with every pixel and dot on the screen seeming to brim with life. I know this is one of the few films this year that adults, teens, and little tykes alike can all go and see and enjoy together. There's a lot to be said about the movie which mixes fantasy, action, adventure, and humor to make a great all-round entertainer. I thin Brave ranks right up there with other Pixar greats like "Ratatouille" and "Up" and I hope they are planning a sequel because the story of Merida deserves another chapter. It's also a great movie for kids to see with their mothers because it's about a mother-daughter relationship. It never gets sappy, but is always heartfelt and deeply touching. Pixar does it again.

Though not as impressive in 3D as "The Avengers" or "Avatar", "Brave" is still quite stunning to behold. The colors of the movie seem to lurch out at you from the screen, especially the giant mess of red curls that is Merida's hair. You'll also really enjoy the brilliantly animated bear fights in 3D, though I wouldn't recommend taking kids under the age of 5 because they get pretty intense. I was kinda scared and I'm 17!

The best 3D movies give you a reason to see them in 3D, which not every movie can do. Pixar's own Cars 2 was not much of a treat in 3D because the story was so-so, but "Brave" has lots of action and adventure to make it worth it. I would even say that of all the Pixar movies, this is the one that should be seen in 3D.

I loved this movie SO much that I knew I had to see it again as soon as it ended, which is why I went to see "Brave" in 3D when I saw it the second time. Make no mistake: the movie is even *more* amazing in 3D than it is in the standard format. All the colors come alive and pop out at you, as do a lot of the characters during the story's many exciting sequences (loved the fight between Merida and Mor'du, it was SO exciting in 3D!)

The last movie I really liked in 3D was "Alice in Wonderland" and this movie is a much better story so you will likely also enjoy it. I think it's worth the price if you really like Pixar movies and have an extra $15 to $20 to spend. Hey, it beats having to roam the mall and spend your allowance on coffee drinks with your friends. I say stay indoors in the hot summer and treat yourself to the wonders of "Brave" in 3D!

I loved almost everything about Brave. The bear scenes were a little scary to my niece and when it showed the guys bottoms she couldn't stop talking about that part of the movie.

Except for the fact that the kids in the audience absolutely *insisted* on talking throughout the entire movie (lol), watching Pixar's latest masterpiece "Brave" in 3D was well worth the $20 I paid for the privilege. Pixar has absolutely outdone itself once again, creating a visually stunning movie that looks so alive you feel that you could almost touch every element on the screen. The magical blue wisps that appear throughout the film are the highlight of watching the movie in 3D as they seem to be floating right in front of you whenever they appear. Also majestic to behold are the many sequences of Merida riding her steed Angus that seem to pop out at you whenever they appear.

Personally, I really loved the way Pixar took the traditional princess fairy tale and spun it on its head. Here's a princess who really doesn't care about falling in love or meeting Prince Charming - she just wants to live life to the fullest on her own terms. She is very flawed to be sure (the best characters always are) but she's very memorable and makes the entire audience root for her throughout. Here's to hoping we get a "Brave" sequel very soon!

Generally, I'm not a big fan of 3D movies - after all, why spend almost $20 a ticket for something that's really just an annoying distraction? I personally find the whole 3D thing to be just a gimmick for Hollywood to milk money out of unsuspecting moviegoers. If I have to take my kids to a movie in 3D, I know I'm spending at least $100. It had better be worth it.

But "Brave" in 3D is actually pretty amazing. There are tons of airborne action sequences that just 'come alive' when you're watching it in 3D and which you just can't get in the standard format. Of course, none of this would matter if the movie weren't as amazing as it is - if you loved any of the Disney classics and especially the Pixar movies like "Finding Nemo" and "Ratatouille" then you'll definitely find much to rave about in "Brave". It's a classic in the true sense - beautiful to behold and amazing to watch. You won't forget it any time soon - and neither will your kids, which if they're like mine, are already begging you for another trip to the AMC!

I had a great time watching this film and I think that most people will enjoy it so i recommend seeing it in the theaters. I was babysitting and decided to see a movie with them, there are not a lot of films for children right now in the theaters so we decided on this one and it was a right decision. The kids wanted to see it in 3D and I can not argue with them so we saw it in 3D and I am happy we did because it looked really great. The film was fast, funny, genuine and overall loads of fun. I liked the message of the film and I think that the heroine was great and different from all other characters. Overall, I think it is a great summer film for the whole family.

I really liked this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. I took my sister to see it with me and we both had a great time watching it. Pixar has always pleased me with their animations and after Cars 2 I was really afraid that Pixar has lost their groove. Fortunately, it seems that they are back on track and this film has all the right ingredients for a great film. We saw the film in 3D and I think it was totally worth the extra cash because it enhanced our experience and it looked absolutely amazing in 3D. I loved the characters in the film, i liked the message and I really loved the heroine of this story. Overall, I had a blast watching this film and I think you will have a great tie as well.
