I loved this movie and I did not expect much from it so it was a very pleasant surprise. The atmosphere of the movie is sort of melancholic and mysterious and the cinematography sure helps out in the creation of the mood. In my opinion the film is really about people finding their purpose in life. The main character Doug (Cris Lankenau) is in search of himself and the purpose to his life and he finds it when his ex-girlfriend disappears and he sets to find her. I could relate to this movie very well and it sort of gave me hope. Cris Lankenou was excellent as a lost drop-out in search for his purpose. His sister Gail (Trieste Kelly Dunn) helps him in his quest and in the end rediscovers the friendship with her brother. Trieste and Cris have a great onscreen chemistry as a brother and sister, they are very believable.

What a beautiful and interesting film. I really did not expect this film to be that good, it is a very small budget movie but it did not feel that way and it definitely did not look that way either. The movie is set in Portland Oregon and the city is shot beautifully and mysteriously in the same time. I really enjoyed the story because I like mysteries and the director made it look fresh and interesting. I also really liked the relationship between Doug and Gail, I really related to the story of siblings growing up and growing apart. Cris Lankenau and Trieste Kelly Dunn really impressed me, their relationship was very realistic and it felt like they really known each other for years, it was very easy going and enjoyable to watch. I highly recommend seeing this film, I guarantee you will love it.
