This is a comedy/horror film directed by Álex de la Iglesia and stars Carlos Areces, Antonio de la Torre and Carolina Bang. If you are afraid of clowns i highly recommend not seeing this film, it will scare you to death. I am not sure if i liked this film, i was really confused about it for a while. The film is very stylish, dramatic and brutal all in the same time. The film is shot in a very unique way and there is a lot of switching between color, black and white and comic book style, it was a bit too much for me visually. By the end, the film becomes kind of repulsive and hard to watch. Overall, this film is definitely not for everyone but if you want to see something very different, I would suggest seeing this movie. -
This is a comedy directed by Álex de la Iglesia and stars Carlos Areces, Antonio de la Torre and Carolina Bang. I have no idea if I loved this film or absolutely hated it, I think that was the purpose of the director, to forget the good or bad criteria and just watch the world that he creates. This world is bizzare, full of violence, sex and double or triple meanings. The film is very impressive, i have heard that it had a huge budget and one can definitely see that in this film. The movie is photographed splendidly, it has amazing action scenes and great special effects, it also has some gruesome scenes that were hard to watch. One can definitely see that this film was made with infinate amount of passion, sometimes it works out for the good of the film and sometimes it is way too much. I suggest seeing this film for yourself, it will be a very interesting experience, I promise.
