I was really surprised how much I liked this film and i actually highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. Punk Rock is definitely not my thing, I grew up with a brother who used to listen to Punk Rock and torture me with that horrible music, therefore I was intrigued to see what the doc**entary will be like and I was pleasantly surprised, I really liked it. It was weird to see all those tough and once rebellious Punk Rockers as loving and devoted fathers. I was almost shocked to see Flea tear up and it was nice to see that the guy has a major soft spot. I found the film to be charming and amusing and I think anybody would have a great tie watching this film. -
It was very interesting for me to watch this doc**entary because my my brother was into Punk Rock big time and rebelled for most of his life until he became a father and everything changed. I thought the film was very interesting and I recommend seeing it in the theaters. I do wish that the filmmakers interviewed the wives and the children as well, i think it would have added an extra edge to the film. I think that the film is compelling and sweet in its own way. I was really surprised how emotional and open hearted Flea was, I mean the dude almost cried twice it was almost unreal. Overall, I had a great time watching this film and so will you. -
This is a doc**entary that explores how punk rockers transform from being against the authority to being an authority-father, the film is directed by Andrea Blaugrund and stars Tony Adolescent, Art Alexakis and Rob Chaos. This doc**entary was dear to my heart because I was a hard core punk in my twenties and now I am a father and I hope that my children will not follow my steps, I realize that there is a slim chance that they will not. I like that the doc**entary made the punk rockers seem human and relateable and likable, they are just regular dads that are trying to do the best that they can. Overall, I do not think this doc**entary is worth the price of the ticket but I would definitely suggest renting it.
